Preschooler Craft: Making a pompon caterpillar
Two Wednesdays ago, DH brought the kids to the local library for a special caterpillar-themed story and craft time, “Once Upon a Caterpillar”. The cost was $2 per child, but the facilitator kindly waived the fee for DS.
The kids came back with these cute pompon and clothes peg caterpillars.
The craft is simple enough to retrace the steps and make your own at home for close to no cost. 😉
You will need: Craft pompons in various colours, clothes peg, two googly eyes and white craft glue (normal clear glue will not be strong enough).
1. Apply craft glue on one side of the clothes peg.
2. Stick on the pompons.
3. Apply glue to the first pompon at the pincer end of the clothes peg and stick on the googly eyes. Leave to dry.
