It was pouring outside and DD was getting a bit stir crazy, so in a bid to occupy her with a quieter and more constructive activity, I pulled out the paintbox. We were just exploring different painting techniques on the unused side of a recycled artblock sheet. I kinda like how it turned out.
DD started first, then I joined in with some circles, and so did she and we turned those into stick figures of our family – DH, me carrying DS and DD walking to my left. DH came along, and we added more colours and brushes and here you go!
It looks like our family’s in the midst of a crowd of people, by the side of a lake or pond(??), and there’s a tree trunk on the left of the picture and some greenery in the background? Can’t explain the random orange brushstrokes though, heheh 🙂
